This one comes with a story. In March 2020, I left Amsterdam (the city where I currently reside) for what was supposed to be a week long trip to visit my friends and family in LA (the city where I’m from). However, during that week long trip, the COVID19 crisis became more intense and I ended up getting stuck in LA for two months.

One of the biggest silver linings was getting to reconnect with the LA office of 72 … and furthermore, getting the opportunity to creatively lead a project on behalf of my home city. Together with director, John X Carey (the talent behind Dove’s Beauty Sketches), we created an entire production while sheltering in place. This meant we interviewed 15 Angelenos via Zoom, sent them sanitized 360 GoPro Max cameras to shoot content with, directed them via phone calls and edited a 2 minute documentary, a :30 and two :15s that lived on television, social and the city’s website … all while staying socially distant from one another.  The stories we heard, and the process of creating a 360 PSA campaign for Los Angeles, made this one of the most meaningful projects I’ve ever worked on.

OOH
To accompany our film, we created simple, graphic messaging, which was featured all over Los Angeles thanks to over a million dollars of donated media.
